50s Prime Time Cafe

Very good homestyle "comfort food" served in a classic 1950s sitcom kitchen, complete with Formica tabletops and black-and-white televisions. Word to the wise: you had better eat all your vegetables if you want to order dessert. Your server, in character as an ersatz family member, will have no qualms about putting you on the spot about this or any number of things; it's all in good fun, but do not eat here if you're not in the mood to play along.

Cafe Rix

The salads and sandwiches are your standard fare, but the baked goods are fresh and the gelato is ice-cold.

San Angel Inn Restaurante

It's always twilight at this "outdoor" cafe, providing a romantic atmosphere any time of day. For people-watchers, the Gran Fiesta Tour ride floats right past the dining area. The menu has a wide variety of entrees prepared with traditional Mexican spices and sides.

Cape May Cafe

The cafe hosts two totally different meals, both buffets. Breakfast is Goofy's Beach Club Breakfast, with Goofy, Minnie, and Donald getting ready for a day at the beach. Dinner is modeled after a seaside clam bake, with barbecue and pasta on one side and seafood on the other. No characters at dinner, just a lot of good food.

Grand Floridian Cafe

The Cafe is a step below Citricos and Narcoossee's, offering a somewhat less creative menu, but you'll still enjoy some good food along with the famous Grand Floridian decor. It also has the added advantage of being open for breakfast and lunch.

Kona Café

Traditional American fare fused with Asian flavors. Think teriyaki-style strip steak, or coconut almond chicken. The Sticky Wings for Two appetizer gets good reviews, but then, so does pretty much everything on the menu.

Tambu Lounge

This is a popular place for guests waiting to be seated at the Kona Cafe or at 'Ohana. Great Polynesian atmosphere, though watching ESPN on the big-screen TV detracts a bit. Well known for their specialty drinks.

Whispering Canyon Cafe

Tuck your napkin under your collar, shout as loud as you want, and boo or blow raspberries when the waiter announces that someone is going to SeaWorld or Universal Studios! This is not the place for quiet, retiring types; it's a raucous, energy-filled, foot-stomping eatery with plenty of good home-style food. At lunch, you order à la carte, but at dinner you'll be getting a Canyon Skillet, which is filled (and refilled, as often as you like) with four kinds of meat and several side dishes. Breakfast at the Cafe is somewhat more sedate, as befits the hour, but the servers are still ready to have some fun, and there's even a breakfast version of the Canyon Skillet!

Garden View Tea Room

The Garden View Lounge offers an afternoon tea each day, with a wide selection of specialty teas. You can stop at just the tea, or you can go for the full afternoon tea experience, with tea sandwiches and tarts and the like. There are also a number of à la carte items available, from cheese plates to beer and champagne.

Rix Lounge

One of the most upscale lounges on Disney property, located next door to the Cafe Rix. This is the place to go if you want to do some serious schmoozing while you partake of some very expensive drinks. No Disney characters here, that's for sure, but they do have a DJ and sometimes a live percussion ensemble.

T-Rex

This new restaurant, the second one in the chain, is a lot like Rainforest Cafe, but with prehistoric creatures instead of modern animals. The "Dino-Store" gift shop features just about what you'd expect, but don't miss the Build-A-Dino area, run by Build-A-Bear Workshop. It tends to be one of the most popular restaurants in Disney Springs, so reservations are highly recommended.

A counter-service location with unique computerized ordering kiosks. Grilled flatbread pizzas are very good; also features an array of sandwiches and salads, adding pasta options for dinner (after 5PM).

Primarily a bakery, but you can also find some sandwiches here, including peanut butter and jelly for the kids. The rice cream (yes, rice), and the Kringla Sweet Pretzels are unique treats.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe

The west-side counterpart to Cosmic Ray's, Pecos Bill's is almost always crowded. The menu was revamped in 2015 to a heavily Tex-Mex flavor, in the form of Southwestern salads, fajitas, burritos, and rice bowls.

Royal Anandapur Tea Company

In keeping with the Asian theme of this section of the park, the Tea Company offers a wide variety of Eastern teas for sale. Some of the choices include Indian masala chai, Longjing tea from China, and (breaking the theme a bit) South Africa's Rooibos "miracle tea". Coffee (including lattes, cappuccino, and espresso) is also available.

Starbucks sells their coffee beverages and "La Boulange" pastries, along with a selection of Disney baked goods.

Planet Hollywood Observatory

Founded by Demi Moore, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and Bruce Willis, the Planet Hollywood chain has never been as successful as they hoped, but it's still a great place to gawk at celebrity paraphernalia and enjoy a good meal at the same time. This giant spherical structure sits between the Town Center and the West Side, and it's usually pretty busy. Just like at a Hard Rock Cafe, part of the appeal is buying a T-shirt identifying the location you visited; if you don't want to brave the crowds at the restaurant, you can check out their standalone store just down the street on the West Side.

Connections Café

The Café offers the full Starbucks menu, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and pastries, in a modern, open setting with large windows overlooking Spaceship Earth. The café features colorful murals celebrating global connections through food, ample seating with wireless charging and USB ports.

One of two WDW locations for this chain restaurant, which features animatronic animals, thunderstorms, and good food. There's a big gift shop packed with Rainforest Cafe logos, too. One word of warning—the animatronics can be a bit startling, as they sometimes come to life suddenly; some kids might find them unsettling. Even though it's not a Disney restaurant, the Disney Dining Plan is accepted here.

The ubiquitous American coffee purveyors have invaded the Disney parks, with their first of four Walt Disney World locations opening in the former Main Street Bakery location. They've made an attempt to fit in with the old-time atmosphere, retaining much of the old decor. In addition to your skinny double venti Americano, you can get a selection of pastries and baked goods similar to what the old Bakery offered..
