AccorHotels Arena

An indoor sports arena that seats around 17,000 for sports and slightly over 20,000 for major concerts; formerly known as Palais des Omnisports de Paris-Bercy and Bercy Arena. Home to numerous concerts and major sporting events, most notably the Paris Masters tournament on the ATP World Tour in men's tennis.

American Cathedral

A Gothic Revival cathedral built in the late 19th century for the American community in Paris. Its elegant stone façade and stained-glass interior make it a distinctive and lesser-known stop near the Champs-Élysées.

The oldest of the many boutiques operated by this gelato (Italian ice cream) maker.

Antoine

This shop sells stylish umbrellas and old-style canes, meant to last a lifetime. Also fancy hats, scarfs and gloves.

Arènes de Lutèce

An ancient Roman theater, the only surviving above-ground ruins of the Gallo-Roman era in Paris (ancient Lutetia, French Lutèce) apart from the nearby Thermes de Cluny. The theatre could hold approximately 15,000 spectators and measures some 132 m x 100 m. Built sometime in the 2nd century CE, the location of the actor's dressing room, the platform of the stage, and lapidary remains can still be seen. The remains were rediscovered in 1869, when new streets were being built. An excavation was subsequently ordered in 1883. The theatre has been preserved as a quiet archaeological park removed from the bustle of Parisian streets.

Atelier Renault

Renault has opened its Champs-Elysees showroom at this location in 1910. The highlight of its current form, launched in 2011, is the cafe/restaurant/bar in the "floating" mezzanine, where you can enjoy some good drinks and food as well as a nice view over the Champs Elysees and the Renault cars from the past and present exhibited below.

A beer-bar coming with a new concept: one beer-pump on every table. Each table have its own distinct beer in the pump, so you have to meet people to taste other beers.

Avenue Peugeot

While not as spectacular from the outside as its sister brand Citroen's building, the Avenue Peugeot is also worth a visit if you are a car fan, as it always has a temporary exhibition of some of Peugeot's concept or competition cars the brand is famous for. You can obviously also explore the regular range of Peugeot cars and purchase one, as well as an extensive range of Peugeot merchandise from the on-site "boutique Peugeot", including the Peugeot condiment grinders the company makes for much longer than it does build cars.

Avenue des Champs-Elysées

For many visitors one of the must-see places in Paris is the Avenue des Champs-Elysées which was first created in 1667 by Louis XIV's gardener, Andre Le Nôtre, in order to improve the view from the Tuileries garden. This elegant and broad avenue was extended towards the end of the 18th century, now running from the place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe. It is noted today as one of the most prestigious shopping boulevards of Paris.

Brazilian favela chic. The friendly folks who run this place have been hosting Brasilian dance nights at various venues around town. But don't just come in to check out the posters; stay a while for the fantastic vegetarian friendly South American and international cuisine at reasonable prices.

Is a general store with most of everything: clothes, perfumes, furniture, you name it—it's especially famous for its basement section, dedicated to handiwork & DIY --think of it as a small Home Depot in a basement, though with French hardware and house and garden accessories that look distinctive in other settings.

Bang!

Offers a selection of first class meats from all over the world (From American Angus and French Aubrac to Argentine Angus and Simmental from Bavaria), along with natural wines. The result is a friendly, warm space to meet friends, enjoy delicious food and converse against a soothing musical background of jazz and pop.

Banoi

Tiny Vietnamese restaurant featuring fresh authentic Vietnamese spring rolls, soup and sandwich banh-mi. Mix and match tapas. Vietnamese drinks and beer. They do a huge take-out and delivery business.

Bar Hemingway

Hemingway tried to drink here once per week even before he made it big. In August 1944 Hemingway made a booze-powered drive into Paris ahead of the advancing Free French 2nd Tank Division to "liberate the Ritz", and specifically the bar which was shortly thereafter renamed in his honour. Today the bar is considered by many to be one of the best bars in the world, in no small part due to the bar-tending skills of Colin Field, who creates elaborate cocktails as a fine art, and with the rest of the staff is skilled at bringing his guests together in conversation.

The two pavilions were built in 1784 to 1787 by the French architect Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, who erected many similar toll houses at the entrances to the city.

Bataclan

Ba-ta-clan

Attend a concert or have a drink at this popular café-concert music hall inaugurated in 1865 featuring brightly painted Chinese architecture. Always attracting a young crowd, the Bataclan has regained the splendor it once enjoyed and now books many emerging hip and rock acts. The café on the ground floor is outstanding, perhaps even better than in the old days. A memorial honoring those 90 persons killed in a terrorist attack on 13 Nov 2015 is across the street in a small park.

Bateau Phare

Batofar

This little red lighthouse boat hosts dance and chill electronic music and other multimedia cultured events and has been one of the coolest spots around for some time. It was closed in or around 2018 but reopened in 2024 under a new name, "le Bateau Phare," that sounds just like the old one, "le Batofar." The dance floor is in the hold, a restaurant is above it, and the lounge on the upper deck. There is also a restaurant on the quai called "La Terrasse" that is open from May to October.

A lounge bar restaurant with a bobo environment and rich dishes. A new romantic lounge bar with a very nice patio.

Bistro Paul Bert

A most classic Parisian bistro serving many first-time visitors to Paris and others who return. Appealing dishes are well plated and served, reliable and consistent from starter to dessert. This bistro is not a hidden gem as its well deserved reputation is widely known by tourists. Nevertheless if reservations are made in advance, seats are available and service remains excellent. The lunch menu is a remarkable value. Wine is diverse and served by the bottle or glass.

A real gin bar but they serve many other drinks, specialty cocktails included. Bar food is available but do not come for the food. This place is about cocktails.

Bodhi Vegan

Cheap and cheerful South-East Asian vegan fare run by a Vietnamese sect. The menu is pretty gigantic so you'll be very spoilt for choice!

Bois de Vincennes

There are many beautiful footpaths, a Buddhist Temple, and a lake with rowboats available for rental (about €10 as of 2009). The lake has many different kinds of birds, and islands accessible by footbridge.

Bouillon Chartier

Since 1896. Menu changes regularly. Historic building and interior. Classically dressed servers. Satisfying, cheap food. Traditional, representative French cooking; don't expect innovative, haute cuisine. Usually the line is bigger than the reputation. Continuous service without reservations.

Boulangerie Utopie

This prize-winning "destination boulangerie" is worth a detour. There is always waiting line so be patient. Only four stools and a small bar. Diverse bakery of many breads and pastry selections. Pastries range from elegant to purely simple. Fresh sandwiches on rustic baguettes are excellent. Discount menu combinations offered at lunch. English spoken.

Bourse de commerce - Pinault Collection

Commodities Exchange Building

Since 2021 the 18th-century former Bourse de Commerce building has been the Paris home of the art collection of the French business magnate François Pinault, showing a rotating selection of contemporary artworks either newly commissioned or taken from his collection.
