Timeline
10:00
Enter the Panthéon early to beat the crowds. The building opens at 10:00, so you will have the crypt and the neoclassical interior to yourself. Remember to ask explicitly for access to the Panorama Tower if you want the view.
11:00
Walk three minutes south to the summit of Montagne Sainte-Geneviève. This hill overlooks the left bank of the Seine and offers a quiet, elevated perspective of the neighborhood you just explored.
11:30
Head four minutes northwest to Le Petit Prince de Paris for lunch. The menu is set and affordable, featuring traditional French dishes like duck with feathers. It is relaxed and uncrowded, making it a perfect spot for a midday meal.
12:30
Finish your walk three minutes east at The Bombardier. This pub sits right in front of St-Etienne-du-Mont church and offers cask ales and cocktails in a prime location near the Panthéon.
Local tip
