1. DoCentral

   "Ade Irma Suryani Nasution" Traffic Park

   Taman Lalu Lintas

   Recreation park in the heart of the city, for children to learn about traffic signs and rules. Children can ride around by mini-cars or bicycles. The park is located in a green garden space that used to be part of the command centre of the Dutch East Indies army.

2. DoNorth

   Gasibu Park

   Lapangan Gasibu

   Large lawn square in front of Gedung Sate. It's a favourite spot for a walk around a park and all the way towards Monju (Monumen Perjuangan), some 500 metres away. The square is a fairground on Sunday mornings, with food stalls at the Monju Park. People's favourites include dim sum ceker (a chicken foot cooked dim sum style) and nasi liwet (rice cooked in coconut milk, with chicken and vegetables).

   Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium

   initially known as Gedebage Stadium

   Modern football stadium, opened in 2013. It is the home of the city's Persib Bandung football club. The official capacity of the all-seater stadium according to FIFA rules is 38,000, but if the seats are removed the stadium can hold up to 72,000 spectators.

   Water recreation park with many swimming pools, water slides, etc.

   Punclut

   Punclut, an abbreviation of Puncak Ciumbuleuit ("the peak of Ciumbuleuit") is an area in the northern foothills of Bandung. The area is known for its many cheap and traditional Sundanese restaurants, and for its natural surroundings. From Punclut, there are hiking trails through the mountains towards Lembang.

   Saung Angklung Udjo

   Angklung is a traditional Sundanese musical instrument, made by bamboo. Udjo Nalagena, a famous angklung artist, created an Angklung House in East Bandung, where angklung instruments are made, learned and played. You can enjoy an angklung concert played by the orchestra (which includes both adults and children), combined with a dance performance. The concert is interactive, with the spectators invited to hold small angklungs and join. The place is in the middle of padi terrace and bamboo field, a perfect location to feel the relaxedness of a small village. There is a small café and a souvenir shop at the venue. It is one of the most popular travel destinations in Bandung, and it is highly recommended. Performances usually take place both in the morning and in the afternoon.

   Trans Studio Bandung

   Indonesia's biggest indoor theme park is an equivalent to Universal Studios, but to a much smaller scale. There are more than 20 rides within 3 zones: Studio Central, The Lost World, and Magic Corner. Some of the attractions, especially the roller coasters, are equally thrilling to what you would expect in an outdoor amusement park. The Trans Studio Mall is connected to the theme park, and there are several hotels in the complex as well.

   ZEN Family Spa & Reflexology

   One of the most popular massage/spa services in the city. The location on Jalan Sukajadi (near the PVJ shopping mall) is the original location, but nowadays they have more locations in Bandung and other Indonesian cities. Balinese relaxation massage, foot treatment, back and shoulder massage, face therapy, Thai massage, body scrub, and more.

   Begins at Puncrut, Jl. Kiputih, North Bandung. For beginners or who save the stamina, it is better to go to Ledeng first and continue to Lembang by angkot and ask people to go down to Puncrut.

    Ram Fighting

    Villages around Bandung host ram fights on alternate Sundays. It's a big event for locals who turn out in their hundreds to watch 5-minute bouts between prize fighter male sheep. Tournaments are held in purpose-built rings in outlying villages. Best to hire a motorbike/guide in Bandung who knows when and where the next tournament is on. Ram fighting is not a blood sport but animal lovers may be upset at the sight of the fights, which are organized and refereed rather like boxing matches.
