Recreation park in the heart of the city, for children to learn about traffic signs and rules. Children can ride around by mini-cars or bicycles. The park is located in a green garden space that used to be part of the command centre of the Dutch East Indies army.

Djuanda Forest Park
Taman Hutan Raya Ir. H. Djuanda
The forest park is a conservation area and botanical garden in the mountains on the north side of the city, and serves as a water catchment area for the city. There are some interesting parks for children or to have a picnic. Some people walk through the forest to reach Maribaya park in Lembang. There are two caves in the park that can be visited. You will need to rent a torch, because there is no light in the caves.

Gasibu Park
Lapangan Gasibu
Large lawn square in front of Gedung Sate. It's a favourite spot for a walk around a park and all the way towards Monju (Monumen Perjuangan), some 500 metres away. The square is a fairground on Sunday mornings, with food stalls at the Monju Park. People's favourites include dim sum ceker (a chicken foot cooked dim sum style) and nasi liwet (rice cooked in coconut milk, with chicken and vegetables).

Gedung Sate
One of the most well-known Dutch colonial buildings in Indonesia, the Gedung Sate was built in 1920-1924 to a design by Dutch architect J. Gerber. The building's name (literally 'Satay Building') refers to the ornament on the roof, that looks like a satay skewer. The building uses a combination of style elements, including European neoclassical architecture and Indonesian aspects. The building was built for the Department of Public Works of the Dutch East Indies. Nowadays, it is used as the provincial government building (for the governor and the provincial parliament) of West Java. On Sundays, the surrounding gardens are also open for public.

Jeans Street
Street known for its many clothing stores, and especially for the sale of jeans. A lot of denim shops are decorated with funky designs. Giant models of Superman, Goku, Rambo and others, stand guard over some of the shops. The Cihampelas Walk shopping mall is along the same street.

Kilometre Zero
Titik Kilometer Nol
In 1808, the Great Post Road across Java was built (the section in Bandung's city centre is now called Jalan Asia Afrika). It is said that when Governor-General H.W. Daendels of the Dutch East Indies travelled along the route, he said at the place where the road crosses the Cikapundung river: "Make sure that a city has been built here, when I return." At that location, a 'Kilometre Zero' milestone was placed, and until today this is used as the zero-point of Bandung and the wider region. Apart from the milestone, there is a commemorative plaque.

Punclut
Punclut, an abbreviation of Puncak Ciumbuleuit ("the peak of Ciumbuleuit") is an area in the northern foothills of Bandung. The area is known for its many cheap and traditional Sundanese restaurants, and for its natural surroundings. From Punclut, there are hiking trails through the mountains towards Lembang.

Indonesia's biggest indoor theme park is an equivalent to Universal Studios, but to a much smaller scale. There are more than 20 rides within 3 zones: Studio Central, The Lost World, and Magic Corner. Some of the attractions, especially the roller coasters, are equally thrilling to what you would expect in an outdoor amusement park. The Trans Studio Mall is connected to the theme park, and there are several hotels in the complex as well.

The largest shopping mall of the city, connected to the Trans Studio theme park. The mall is the place in Bandung to find upscale clothing and fashion brands, as well as sit-down dining options and a huge food court. There is also an XXI cinema, NAV Family Karaoke (KTV), a large supermarket, and a department store.

Villa Isola
Gedung Rektorat UPI
Art-deco villa building designed by architect C.P.W. Schoemaker. It was built in 1932 for media tycoon D.W. Berretty. It lies in the northern part of Bandung, overlooking the city to south and the Tangkuban Perahu volcano to the north. Villa Isola and its 2 gardens have a magnificent design by its architect, combining the unique landscape and the Indo-European architectural style. The monumental building was later used as a hotel, named Hotel de Luxe. Now it serves as the rectorate building of the Indonesian University of Education (UPI), and it is surrounded by the university's campus. The building cannot be entered, but the surrounding gardens are public, and the building can be seen from all angles.

Puncrut-Lembang walking trail
Begins at Puncrut, Jl. Kiputih, North Bandung. For beginners or who save the stamina, it is better to go to Ledeng first and continue to Lembang by angkot and ask people to go down to Puncrut.
