Located on the boundary of Gilmore and Macarthur, this legendary pub is built around a historic 19th-century homestead. The venue features a massive, dog-friendly outdoor beer garden shaded by heritage Kurrajong trees, making it one of the south side's premier spots for outdoor summer drinks. Inside, a rustic glass function room features a massive open brick fireplace for cozy winter nights. Regular live bands perform on weekends, and the kitchen serves up classic woodfired pizzas, burgers, and pub classics.

Mount Wanniassa
A 809-metre mountain peak nestled between the suburbs of Wanniassa, Farrer, Isaacs and Fadden. The mountain is part of the Wanniassa Hills Nature Reserve providing excellent views of Woden and Tuggeranong. The mountain can be climbed via the established walking trails on the east and west slopes.
