This newly renovated suburban pub boasts a fantastic community vibe. It features a spacious interior with eight pool tables, three large television screens, and a projector showcasing live sports. Weekly specials are a massive draw, including a $25 Chicken Schnitty and tap beer deal on Tuesdays, $30 Rump Steak and beer on Wednesdays, and a $5 happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays.

This massive local community club is a southside institution. It features the dedicated Sideline Bar—a sports fanatic’s dream with giant screens, TAB facilities, and multiple pool tables—alongside a spacious beer garden. If you're hungry, head to "The Cookery" for excellent wood-fired pizzas, high-quality steaks, and classic pub fare. On-site amenities also include a kid's indoor play area and the Moo+Brew Cafe.

Perhaps a good place to get some Chinese food if you're looking for some Chinese food. The food may not as good as what you may get in Dickson, which is Canberra's de facto Chinatown, but is still worth trying.

Possibly on the very lowest end of "mid-range" food you could find, this kebab shop specialises in Italian and Turkish (or Mediterranean food in general). From its colourful signs on the outside, to its food, finding a mix of Turkish–Italian restaurants is generally not common in Canberra.
