Cole's

One of the old guard of Elmwood Avenue restaurants, Cole's has been a favorite haunt of hungry Buffalo State kids since decades before the current crop of students were even born. It's still best known as a bar, but if you're looking for some classic pub grub to go with your fancypants craft beer, you've picked the right place: chicken wings and beef on weck for a true taste of the local cuisine, a sandwich board featuring some of Buffalo's favorite burgers (try the "Jiffy Burger", topped with applewood-smoked bacon and peanut butter), and brunch on Sunday mornings.
