16:00
Grab a coffee or a light snack at Tavern Yerevan. It is the place for traditional Armenian cuisine and is open until late, so you can linger or leave early. The walk from St Astvatsatsin of Nork takes about 12 minutes.
16:30
Walk up to Victory Park. It is an amusement park with a huge monument of Mother Armenia and Soviet military equipment on display. The 27-minute walk from the church puts you here with plenty of time to settle in before the light changes. The park offers a very nice view of the city centre.
18:00
Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The city centre lights will begin to twinkle as the sky darkens.
Local tip
Victory Park is large, so find a spot with a clear view of the WSW horizon before the sun dips. The park is open late, but the atmosphere is best just as the light fades.
