Arrive at the winery. The owners, Jose Luis and Alberta, welcome you to their modernistic space. Order a tasting flight of their regional wines, such as the Kumeey blend, and enjoy a light snack at the elegant restaurant serving Baja cuisine. The winery is open from 11:00 to 19:00, so you have plenty of time to settle in before the sun dips low.

Walk 12 minutes northeast from the winery to the viewing spot. This short stroll gives you a moment to stretch your legs and let the wine settle as you approach the edge of the property.

Stand at the viewing spot and watch the sun sink toward the WSW. The golden light that started around 16:28 will be fading into the deep colors of twilight, casting long shadows across the vines.
Local tip
The restaurant serves dinner until 19:00, so if you stay late, you can transition from sunset sipping to a full meal without moving locations.
