Grab a coffee or pastry at the cafe in Gan Ha'ir. This mini-mall is just off the square, giving you a perfect vantage point to prepare for the view.
16:38
Walk the three minutes from the mall to Rabin Square. Find a spot near the memorial at the northeast corner. The square is wide and open, ideal for watching the sun dip below the horizon to the west.
17:28
Head back to Gan Ha'ir for a nightcap. The area comes alive in the evening, and the atmosphere is perfect for winding down after the sunset.
Local tip
The sun sets toward the WSW in winter. Position yourself so the square opens up in that direction for the best unobstructed view.
Check before you go
- Gan Ha'ir is open late, but check specific shop hours if you plan to browse before the sunset.
