Rabin Square

The largest public square in Israel is at the footsteps of the city hall. This square hosts many public demonstrations and events, often with tens of thousands of participants in attendance. The square is named after former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated here during a peace rally in 1995. A memorial in his memory is at the northeast corner of the square.
