Nouveau Casino et Café Charbon
Grab a beer and settle in at the bar downstairs. The New Casino is a local favourite with young Parisians and stays open late. It is the perfect warm-up before the evening begins.

Walk 36 minutes WSW to the Centre Georges Pompidou. Arrive just in time to see the building bathed in the last warm light of the day. The museum is currently closed for renovation, but the exterior and surrounding area offer a striking view of the sunset towards the WSW.

Head back towards the 11th arrondissement for dinner. Café Cannibale offers chic regional dishes like seared octopus and oysters, with a wide selection of wines. It is open until 02:00 on weekdays.

End the night with a short walk to Grenier. This tiny dive bar is famous for its Django Reinhardt-style Jazz Manouche guitar playing downstairs. It is a great place to listen to live music as the night winds down.
Local tip
The Pompidou is closed for renovation until 2030. Check the route if you need to navigate back to the 11th arrondissement after sunset. Grenier’s jazz sessions are usually downstairs in the front window, so arrive early to secure a spot near the musicians.
