    Passage des Panoramas

Grab a quick coffee or pastry at Passage des Panoramas. It is the oldest of the covered passages and just a minute’s walk from the museum.

  2. 16:36

    Parc Monceau

Walk to Parc Monceau. It is one of Paris’s best kept secrets, painted by Monet numerous times. Arrive early to find a spot near the statues or the entrance rotunda before the crowds.

  3. 17:21

    Parc Monceau

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The golden light starts about 16:29, so the park will be bathed in warm light just before the sun dips below the horizon.

  4. 17:51

    Le Cafe des Lettres

End the evening at Le Cafe des Lettres. The charming cobblestoned courtyard is an ideal place to linger over a glass of wine and digest the view.

Local tip

Parc Monceau is open late, but Le Cafe des Lettres closes at 23:00, so head there before then.
