Head to the Kis-Balaton Visitor Centre as soon as it opens. The early morning light is perfect for spotting birds and exploring the demonstration site's natural values without the heat or the crowds.

Take a walk along the marked trails near the centre. The area is best experienced at a leisurely pace, allowing time to observe the protected wetland ecosystem up close.

Finish your visit by checking the local information or grabbing a coffee if available on-site before heading back. The centre closes at 16:00 from November to October, so you have plenty of time.
Local tip
The visitor centre is located a 2 km walk from Fenékpuszta via Kendergyár bejárati út. Arriving at 09:00 ensures you catch the opening time and enjoy the quietest part of the day.

- Opening hours vary by season: Nov–Mar and Apr–Jun/Sep–Oct are 09:00–16:00 (Tue–Sun, Fri–Sun respectively), while Jul–Aug extends to 19:00.
- Admission is HUF 2000 for adults, with discounts for seniors, students, and children.
