Walk 21 minutes east to Helikon Beach. This is the closest spot to the anchor, offering a quiet view of the lake as the sun begins its descent toward the WSW.
16:29
Move to Town Beach for the main moment. The pier protrudes deep into the lake, providing an unobstructed view of the sun setting toward the WSW. The silhouettes of the original building are visible here.

End the evening at Csaba Pub. It is only a 2-minute walk from Town Beach and stays open until midnight, making it a perfect place to linger after the sun goes down.
Local tip
The walk from the memorial room to the beaches is long (30+ minutes). Start your journey from Pelso Cafe to keep the total walk short and manageable before the sunset.
