   The Delhi Zoo is a very large and sprawling park dedicated to preserving the rich biodiversity of the country. This park may be the only chance of seeing a tiger or elephant for some travellers. Be prepared to do a lot of walking.

   Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium

   India's fourth largest stadium, often called just "Nehru Stadium". Mainly used for athletics and football games but also for concerts. It's the home stadium for the Indian football team.

   Watch cricket at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium. Watch India play in One day or T20 international in the crowded stadium with a capacity of 41,820. Five day test cricket is another option with lesser crowd. Also watch the local club Delhi Capitals (formerly Delhi Daredevils) play the Indian Premier League (IPL).

   A venue for large exhibitions and conventions in New Delhi, and one of the largest in India, overlooking the Purana Qila opposite gate number 1. It houses exhibition halls, eateries, performance spaces and compounds and hosts over 70 national and international exhibitions annually, with the largest being the India International Trade Fair (IITF). During the exhibitions, entry of visitors is also allowed through Gate No. 4 on Bhairon Marg. Rock shows and plays are held quite frequently. There is also an internal shuttle service for those who do not wish to walk.

   Deer Park

   Aditya Nath Jha Deer Park

   A fantastic park for a relaxing. There are some good restaurants near this park and has Tomb of Firoz Shah Tughlaq at one of its corners. Has a boating lake. It is also the home to many deer, peacocks, monkeys, ducks and other wildlife. It's a paradise for morning walkers and has picnic huts. It is near Delhi Lawn Tennis Association.

   Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium

   The largest indoor sports arena in India and among the largest in Asia. It is regularly used by tennis club Indian Aces and DSA Senior Division Futsal League.

   It includes a children's park, an amphitheatre and a food court. The park was constructed in 2004 by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

   The Thyagaraj Sport Complex is a sports stadium in New Delhi, India. It is owned by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and was built at the cost of ₹300 crore (US$31 million). It was designed by leading architects PTM of Australia and Kapoor & Associates of Delhi.

   One of India's best maintained sport complexes. Play over 20 sports and activities including archery, squash, table tennis, aerobics, fencing, yoga, chess and snooker.

    A public garden, named after Kalindi (another name for the river and goddess Yamuna), as it is next to the Yamuna River. It consists of the Delhi Eye, a Ferris wheel named after the one in London. Several tourist attractions are visible from the Delhi Eye.

    Lodi Gardens is a city park situated in New Delhi. Spread over 90 acres (360,000 m2), it contains Muhammad Shah's tomb, the tomb of Sikandar Lodi, the Shisha Gumbad and the Bara Gumbad.     Ajmal Khan Park is an urban park in the central part of the Karol Bagh of New Delhi, India. Spread over five acres, it was initially opened in 1921, named Hakim Ajmal Khan (1868–1927), noted freedom fighter and Unani medicine physician.     Delhi Ridge, sometimes simply called The Ridge, is a ridge in the Northern Aravalli leopard wildlife corridor in the National Capital Territory of Delhi in the New Delhi district, India. It is a northern extension of the ancient Aravalli Range, which is approximately 1.5 billion years old—significantly older than the Himalayas, which are "only" about 50 million years old. The Delhi Ridge consists of quartzite rocks and extends from the southeast at Tughlaqabad, near the Bhatti mines, branching out in places and tapering off in the north near Wazirabad on the west bank of the Yamuna River, spanning approximately 35 kilometres.

    The National Police Memorial in India commemorates the 34,844 police personnel from all of the central and state police forces in India who have died in the line of duty since the nation's Independence in 1947. Located in New Delhi's Chanakyapuri area, the 6.12 acres (2.48 hectares) memorial consists of a 30-foot (9.1-metre) tall and 238-tonne (234-long-ton; 262-short-ton) heavy black granite central sculpture, a museum and a 'Wall of Valour' bearing the names of all 34,844 police personnel who have died in the line of duty.     Siri Fort Auditorium is premier multi-auditorium complex of Government of India. Situated in the Siri Fort in South Delhi, it is also the headquarters of the Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, which also runs the complex.     Talkatora Garden is a Mughal-era garden situated on the Mother Teresa Crescent (previously Willingdon Crescent) in Delhi. During the Mughal era, it used to be a tank and a swimming pool. The Maratha raid on Delhi occurred on 28 March 1737, when the Marathas, led by Bajirao, targeted the Mughals near Talkatora, close to Delhi.
