Tren del Fin del Mundo
The "train to the end of the world" is a pleasant 45-minute train ride with an audioguide into the park on a narrow gauge railway rebuilt on part of the roadbed of the old logging train. The train line operated from 1909 to 1952, transporting timber and other material in the penal colony, and reopened in 1994 as a tourist train. You won't get very good views of the park but train enthusiasts in particular will enjoy the ride. The train also stops for about 15 minutes at a station in the middle of the journey, just long enough to take the 5 minute walk to the waterfall, or buy a drink and take a picture with the employees dressed as prison inmates.
