(1872-1931) Austrian radiologist who established what is now Guido Holzknecht Institute at Vienna General Hospital. The oringal of the statue had missing fingers to show what he had lost due to radiation poisoning.

(1888-1848) Swedish nurse, philanthropist. Known around the world as the "Angel of Siberia". In 1915, she went to Siberia to introduce basic medical treatment for German and Austrian POWs. Nominated 5 times for Nobel Peace Prize.
