National Congress of Argentina
The National Congress of Argentina (Spanish: Congreso de la Nación Argentina) is the legislative branch of the government of Argentina. Its composition is bicameral, constituted by a 72-seat Senate and a 257-seat Chamber of Deputies. The Senate, a third of whose members are elected to six-year renewable terms every two years, consists of three representatives from each province and the federal capital.

You can only visit by joining one of the tours which run regularly during the day. They are conducted in Spanish or English and take about an hour. You can book a spot online or just show up at the big door on the Hipolito Yrigoyen side of the building with your passport. The building is very impressive with the dome in the centre of the building 58 metres above the floor. All the main rooms have considerable significance for the people of Argentina and the guides do a great job explaining why, for example the room with presidential portraits only contains portraits of some of the presidents and why one room is named the Eva Peron room despite the fact that she wasn't a member of parliament.
