Gaspar de Santa Coloma y Sollano (January 6, 1742 – January 31, 1815) was a Spanish merchant who played a significant role in the economic and cultural development of colonial Argentina.

Nicolás Rodríguez Peña
Nicolás Rodriguez Peña (30 April 1775 – 3 December 1853) was an Argentine politician. Born in Buenos Aires in April 1775, he worked in commerce which allowed him to amass a considerable fortune. Among his several successful businesses, he had a soap factory partnership with Hipólito Vieytes, which was a centre of conspirators during the revolution against Spanish rule.

Victor de Pol
Victor de Pol (1865 - 1925) was an Italian sculptor and medallist most active in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Born in Venice, de Pol was a student of Giulio Monteverde. He immigrated to Argentina at the age of 22 and participated in the development of La Plata, designing Beaux-Arts-style sculpture for major public buildings.
