Aqueduct of Chapultepec

It's often thought that the Spanish brought the skills necessary to build aqueducts to Mexico, but that theory is turned on its head by the Aqueduct of Chapultepec, which was built by the Aztecs (Mexica) in 1425....about a century before the first Spaniards would arrive. The aqueducts once brought water to the park for its botanical gardens and baths of the Aztec nobility.
