Romanesque Church of Sant Salvador de Barruera

It was rebuilt, as it was in ruins. It is located northwest of the village of Barruera, on a slope of the Serrat de les Costes, at 1,524 m alt., that is, 400 m above the head of the village. There is no documentation of this church, from any period. Only the construction allows us to date it to the Romanesque period. It is a temple with a single nave, covered with wooden beams, and with a semicircular apse on the east side. It has a door on the south wall and a gabled bell tower (with a window without a bell) on the western wall. It is a rustic work from the end of the 12th century,
