65 km east of Quirindi via Wallabadah Road, at Wallabadah turn left onto the New England Highway, turn right onto Lindsay's Gap Road, turn right/south onto Nundle Road, continue through Nundle on Oakenville Street, turn left onto Old Hanging Rock Road, pass the Happy Valley Road turn-off and continue ahead as Barry Road, at the four-way intersection turn right onto Hanging Rock Lookout Road
