13 km south-west of Tenterfield via Douglas Street westbound, turn left/south onto Western Street then right west onto Mount Mackenzie Road, continue around the bend to the left/south, pass Currys Gap State Conservation Area on the left, turn left/south onto Gum Flat Road, turn left/east onto Mount Mackenzie Lookout Road, continue ahead to the lookout
