Getting there: 38 km from Narrabri via Newell Highway southbound, at the roundabout in Narrabri West turn right onto Mooloobar St, turn right onto Baranbar St then left onto Goobar St, pass Bukhai St on the right and continue ahead as Yarrie Lake Rd, cross the Bohena Creek bridge, pass the CSIRO Australia Telescope on the right, turn left/south onto Lake Circuit, follow all the way around to the campsite

Narrabri Lake

This reclaimed swamp has become a recrerational playground for swimmers, canoeists, kayakers, and windsurfers, and there is 3km walking/jogging/cycling track around the lake. Playground and barbecue facilities. A good spot for birdwatching, especially for spotting swans.
