Kings Plains National Park

Kings Plains offers excellent bushwalking, swimming, ephemeral waterfalls. Campground (tents only, unpowered sites), picnic tables, barbecue facilities, toilets. Bring own drinking water, cooking water, firewood. No mobile phone signal.

46 km north-west of Inverell via Glen Innes Road/Gwydir Highway eastbound, turn left/north onto Moore Street, at the hospital turn right onto Swanbrook Road, pass the Orchard Court turn-off on the right and continue ahead as Kings Plains Road, turn left onto Jindalee Road, turn left onto Ironbark Drive, continue straight ahead through the four-way intersection, continue ahead to the campground
