Former town hall, one-story historic building. In 1827 was built by Károly Sennyei in Classicist style. Regional museum, a unit of the Petőfi Literary Museum (Petőfi Irodalmi Múzeum). Documenting, collecting and preserving historical, ethnographic and archaeological monuments of Sátoraljaújhely and the Zemplén region. Mapping the natural history of the Zemplén Mountains and the Bodrogköz. Permanent exhibitions: In the Wake of a Lost Castle (archaeological exhibition about Castle of Sátoraljaújhely), The Beautiful and the Good (history of Ferenc Kazinczy), Foresters Guide (natural values of Zemplén landscapes).
