Neo-Gothic retreat built in the 1870s by Count Pepoli, combining Moorish design elements, ceramic tiles and Favignana stone. Once a meeting place for intellectuals, it now houses a peace observatory linked to Erice’s modern identity as a centre for science and dialogue.
