The Hirschprung Collection

This collection was founded by the Copenhagen-born tobacco manufacturer Heinrich Hirschsprung (1836-1908), and moved into the current museum after his death in 1911. The museum hosts an impressive collection of Danish 19th-century art in a beautiful building displaying furniture from the artists homes.
