Magyar Földrajzi Múzeum

Housed in Wimpffen Mansion built around 1840 in Classicist style. The Hungarian travellers and explorers exhibit shows the life and work of the nation's most famous travellers. Whereas the Scientific explorers of the Carpathian Basin exhibit gives a taste of the academic achievements of the professionals engaged in the exploration of the Carpathian Basin, an area that includes Hungary.
