Ominara

오미나라

A local winery and distillery specializing in beverages made from omija (Schisandra berries), Mungyeong’s signature crop. Visitors can tour the production facilities, learn about omija cultivation, and sample various wines and liqueurs. The main building includes a wine cellar, exhibition area, and a shop selling bottles and gift sets. Guided tasting sessions are offered in Korean, with some English assistance available.

Getting there

Located about 15 minutes by car from downtown Jeomchon, along the road toward Mungyeong Saejae. The entrance is signposted “Ominara Winery,” and free parking is available.
