Water Tower of Yeonsan Station

연산역 급수탑

It is a cultural asset located within the jurisdiction of Yeonsan Station. When railroad networks were built across the country in Japanese colonial era, locomotive supply facilities were installed at each of the major stations. In South Chungcheong Province, there were water towers at Seodaejeon and Ganggyeong stations, but now only Yeonsan Station remains here. It was made by trimming granite in the form of bricks in accordance with the style of the 1910s.
