Hyoam Seowon

효암서원

On May 17, 1984, it was designated as Cultural Heritage Material No. 87 of South Chungcheong Province. This seowon was built in Duwol-ri to honor Kang Eung-jeong, and was named Galsansa Temple. It was burned down during the Japanese invasion of Korea, and was rebuilt on its current site in the 39th year of King Sukjong (1713) and was called Hyoam Seowon.
