This Neo-Gothic church was designed by Emmanuel Corbey and built in 1888. The two towers on either side of the main portal are unfinished.

Sint Martinuskerk

The "Old Tower" is all that remains of a 14th- or 15th-century church in the style of the Brabantine Gothic. It's the only really old church building left in the city today.

Oude Toren

Besides a bar/restaurant, the Effenaar houses 2 large halls for concerts and dance events. It offers a stage for local talent but also receives major international artists.

Effenaar

A young 'underground' venue for gigs and DJs. The terrace can be a good place to lounge on a warm evening.

Natural swimming. The lake is only opened in summer.
