Monument of Brotherhood and Unity
Adem Jashari square
It was designed by the Serbian sculptor Miodrag Zirkovic in 1957 and built in 1959. The Brotherhood and Unity monument was constructed during a time of major changes in the capital of Kosovo. The Yugoslav authorities brought a new spirit of socialist realism, which was also manifested through architecture.
