At this cozy hipster hangout you can indulge in a great variety of beers, rums, and even hookah to the strains of the latest indie music in the background. If you are new to craft beer and don't know where to start, the Hancock on tap is the beer of the house and always a hit. No food up for sale, but you are welcome to bring your own along, if you buy a beer or two and clean up after yourself.

Along with Hærværk (another Aarhus restaurant), Domestic was one of the first places in Aarhus to engage with "New Nordic locavore gourmet" cuisine. This way of cooking, is dedicated 100% to local ingredients in season, and requires great skill and creativity to achieve a gourmet level result. The Michelin star maintained continuously since 2017, shortly after opening, attests to Domestic's success on that front. Be sure to book in advance, for a taste experience out of the ordinary.

Not a café, but an uncompromising bakery and speciality shop offering a good selection of breads, cakes, sandwiches and other foods. Take a look at the large variety and see if there is something for you? Even the jam for the cakes and the pesto for the sandwiches are made on location. Coffees and other beverages to go.
