Jobb Trott House

Thomas Hamill, a Thornhill carpenter, built this double cottage around 1850 perhaps as rental housing for workers employed in nearby mills.

The house was built in 1840 for Robert Jarrot; it was enlarged and moved back from the street in 1910.

John Ramsden, Head Miller at Pomona Mills, built this two-family cottage in 1854. Around 1940, it was converted to a single family dwelling.
