A bar that serves only one kind of drink, so it's easy to decide what to get: a moderately sweet, cognac-infused spirit on cherries (the name means "The Drunk Cherry"). You won't find anything like it anywhere else.

The name translates to "old market" and is located on a small square just outside the old town. Vana Turg is a place to buy clothes and decoration items often Estonian-made and sometimes sold by the makers themselves: knitted pullovers and caps, gloves, belts and slippers are examples of what you can find here.

Viru Gate
This section of town is known as All-Linn or "Lower Town", as it's where the merchants and artisans of old Tallinn lived. Today, Viru is still Tallinn's trendiest shopping street and the entire All-Linn is the busiest (and most touristy) bit of Tallinn.

The Tallinn branch of the Finnish Amarillo tex-mex restaurant chain. Serves a variety of tex-mex style food including hamburgers, steaks and salads. The menu is the same as in Finland. The staff speak Estonian and English and some of them even speak Finnish.

A new Indian restaurant in central Tallinn, just outside the old town. Easy to find as it's on the same street as the Kalev Spa. Offers authentic Indian cuisine with plenty of spices. Try the Indian tea for dessert.
