A central public health and aquatic centre featuring an indoor 50-m Olympic lap pool and a fully equipped health club fitness gymnasium. During the summer season, the outdoor complex opens to the public, offering a dedicated toddler splash zone and a diving pool equipped with 1-m and 3-m public springboards.

Civic's second Ethiopian restaurant (and one of three in Canberra) is best known for its curry sauces and samosas, and it's owned by an Ethiopian couple (so it's indeed really authentic). There are plenty of traditionals to choose from with prices no higher than AUD 20 per person.

A cafe and a bar with lots of savoury treats and a wide range of meat and bread. À la carte breakfast and lunch are available and have an excellent, fine-picked wine selection, with a strong local emphasis.
