Canberra Merry-Go-Round

An iconic heritage-listed carousel featuring 52 hand-carved wooden horses and two elephants alongside a traditional mechanical organ. It operated in Melbourne from 1914, but was relocated to its current octagonal pavilion in Petrie Plaza in 1974. Rides are free daily from 1–24 December during the city's Christmas festival.
