The Quad
Liberal Arts Quadrangle
A large courtyard surrounded by the liberal arts buildings, decorated with 29 Japanese cherry trees. The Quad turns a wonderful shade of pink for a few weeks when the cherry trees bloom in early spring (usually late March-early April). It is the premier cherry blossom picnic spot in the region, filling with hundreds of people during peak bloom.
