조선경국전

Jeong Do-jeon completed the writing in March 1394 (the 3rd year of King Taejo's reign) and presented it to King Taejo in May of that year. It consists of two volumes. It comprehensively describes the standards for governing the Joseon Dynasty according to the Six Classics. The Six-Chapter System of the Zhou Dynasty's 『Book of Rites』 was modeled after this, but was adjusted to fit the realities of Joseon. Before the Six-Chapter System, the outline of the national governance was introduced, including the Jeongbowi (正寶位), Gukho (國號), Jeonggukbon (定國本), Segye (系), and Gyoseo (敎書).
