Bar Facal

Very good food, especially the empanadas. The meals have the taste of homemade, there are a variety of dishes, they are well served. Very comfortable and bright place, attentive and efficient staff. Family atmosphere.

La Cibeles

Traditional place with delicious pizzas and calzones. A delight, fresh dough, wood oven, great musical atmosphere and impeccable service. It has a rather retro setting.

Chain of ice cream bars, several locations.

Heladeria La Cigale

A small fountain at corner of Yi, completely covered by locks. Similar to bridges in many European cities, couples come here to attach a padlock to it. If they do so their love is supposed to last forever and they will also return to Montevideo someday.
