Museo Obispo Fray José Antonio de San Alberto

This building is a convent for Carmelite nuns first and a museum second thus can only be visited by guided tour. It was built as a private house and then given to the church as a residence for male novitiates and is now a convent and orphanage. The emphasis of the museum is the life of the building over the centuries. The small crypt and refectory are interesting and then you can head downstairs to try your hand at printing on what used to be the only printing press in Cordoba given to the Jesuits by special dispensation. A visit to this museum is mandatory for the children of the Jesuit school in Cordoba.
