Újlak Sarlós Boldogasszony plébánia

Above the main entrance of the church in Latin inscription (1705 Creature Creator) marks the year of founding of the parish. For builders, mostly German-speaking Újlaki (Neustift) little more than fifty years faithful took to build and furnish this church. The building Christopher Hamon Nepauer Matthew was raised in 1746-1766. The main altar was designed by Christopher Hickisch in 1799.
