A historical monument. At this point on 6 October 1849, Count Lajos Batthyány was executed. He was the first prime minister of Hungary (between 1807 and 1849).

Two statues located in front of the building. A Hermes statue with approx. 200 cm rectangular stone pedestal. The Hermes statue stay on a sphere top of an Ionic pillar. Hermes left hand holds a purse, on Legs are little wings.(Dealers patron). The other statue is a bronze, 2-m-high winged female figure with a torch.
