North Sydney Olympic Pool

An outdoor public pool almost under the Harbour Bridge with spectacular views. It opened in 1936 and features sea water, sauna and outside snack area. Conveniently close to Sydney CBD. Winter water temperature can be very cold.

Getting there: Milsons Point Train Station or Milsons Point Ferry Wharf.
Hours: Closed until 2026 due to renovations (likely longer due to budget blowouts)
Price: Adult $7.30, child $3.60 for a swim

Student rush tickets are often available for the current day's performances, only at the box office at the Opera House (usually these are single tickets, spread around the theatre).
