Nienschantz monument

It's a place with a claim to be the spot where the city was actually founded in 17th century, as here stood the Swedish fortress conquered by Peter the Great, at the confluence of the Neva and Okhta. Nowadays there is a nice commemorative marker, and no crowds at all.
