Mong Kok

With a population density of 130,000/km2, Mong Kok is described as the busiest district in the world. It is characterised by a mixture of old and new multi-story buildings, with shops and restaurants at street level, and commercial or residential units above. (The shops on upper floors, which tourists may miss, often sell things cheaper.) Many of Mong Kok's streets have acquired nicknames reflecting the specialties of its retailers.
